My Clumsiness vs. Band Aid Liquid Bandage

Last night, I felt like eating a popsicle. I made some popsicles, one of them out of orange juice, and I really felt like indulging in it. So I got it out of the freezer and tried to remove it from the plastic holder, only to my dismay, the plastic handle slid right out of the popsicle. I was left with the edible part of the popsicle stuck in the plastic holder.

I didn’t want that to hold me back from my treat, so I got out a butter knife and tried to pry it out. The only thing is, the knife slipped, and I ended up slicing my finger pretty badly. Blood everywhere. Seriously.

I ran out to Wal Mart and picked up some First-Aid supplies, including a product made by Band-Aid called a “Liquid Bandage”. Essentially, what this does is when it is applied to your cut, it forms a clear, waterproof shield over your wound. It seals it from water, germs, or anything else that could inhibit growth.

I would reccommend going out and getting some of this stuff. $5 gets you 10 applications, and they claim that 1 application will last until the wound heals.
