Friday Five – The 5 Foods I would eat more of if they weren't horrible for you
1. Hot Wings
I would have to say that my favorite food on earth just happens to be one of the worst foods you can eat. I do not eat them that often, but when I do, it is a beautiful thing. Flavor-wise, hot is fine. But my absolute favorite is Asian Zing, available only at Buffalo Wild Wings. If you have tried it, you know exactly what I am talking about. It is like love on a wing. It is that good.
2. Chips and Queso (yes, it counts as one)
This is one of those appetizers that can be eaten as a meal in my opinion. No tomatoes or onions, just cheese and jalapenos (if available)
3. Deep Dish Pizza
I go back and forth between which I like better: Pizza Hut or Papa John’s. For deep dish, it is hard to beat Pizza Hut.
4. Chicken Fingers
Preferably tossed in hot sauce, served with ranch for dipping.
5. Hamburgers from Fudruckers
Fudruckers has my favorite hamburger. High-quality meat and bread, and all of the cheese you could ever want to smother it with.
Readers, please do not think I eat this stuff all of the time. The opposite is true. I just wish that hotwings would encourage muscle growth and overall health. I guess maybe in Heaven.
What is your list?

Mexican Food – the kind where you order two burritos and when they come they are covered in that dark red sauce and melted cheese.
Subway – subway is awesome. The foot long honey oat sweet onion chicken teriyaki with chipotle sauce rules.
Cookies from Subway – I could eat them all day long.
White Cheddar Popcorn – the kind that comes in a black bag in the potato chip aisle. Very addictive.
Movie Theater Popcorn – I have to get some everytime I go to a movie.
These may not be ‘meals’ exactly, but they are some of my favorite foods!
hey, any food is a meal if you eat enough. Maybe that is why I am overweight. Hmmm…
Good calls on the food!
My list would be almost the same. Aside from a different order, I’d drop the Fudruckers specification for hamburgers (I’ve been there a number of times by someone else’s request, and I never found a burger there that wasn’t bested by a non-chain restaurant elsewhere), and I’d change deep-dish pizza to Chicago style deep-dish. If I was ever given a week or even few months to live, these things would become STAPLES of my diet.
Good call on the Chicago deep dish. But I will stand strong with my Fud Burger
