A Great Picture of my Grandparents

My grandmother passed away a few weeks ago, and since then, I have come across a great picture of her and my grandfather from their wedding day over 50 years ago.  She was such a beautiful woman!  After this, she would become the mother to 4, grandmother to 5, and great-grandmother to 2.  She was an AMAZING woman!  Hearing my grandpa tell stories of her has been great, as she had such an impact on all of us.

Love you and miss you, grandma :)

Hello, this is my first time viewing your site. I’m writing you with deepest sympathy to you and your family during this time. I just wanted to say that this picture is AMAZING! She is absolutely gorgeous. I loved hearing stories of my grandparents from my mom and other family. Hearing them makes me feel like they are still here, even though they aren’t. I hope you have a blessed rest of the week. :)

your grandma is so beautiful! you know, i’m glad to have found someone (you) who truly love and appreciate his grandma.

my paternal grandmother died when i was only almost 2 years old. my maternal grandmother had an insulin shocked that left her in a vegetative state when i was only 3 months old but is still she’s alive. although i know that they both adored me (according to some relatives) when i was still little, it keeps me wondering how they were really like before. sometimes it felt like i was rubbed off the chance to enjoy the person that they were. my maternal grandmother is 92 years old now and i take care of her being a nurse. i take advantage of the time left because she’s the only lola (grandma) i got and despite of her condition, i’m still lucky to have her. :)

@ifoundme – yeah, it’s so important to cherish EVERY SINGLE second you have together. I saw my grandma once every few weeks, and of course it wasn’t enough. You’re luck to get to spend time with her. It’s just cool to think that from that person came generations of others, and that’s really special!
