Carlos over at Ragamuffin Soul has created a challenge for those of us that are trying to get in shape called the “RagamuffinTop Challenge“. Basically, I am going to take part with other bloggers in this challenge to lose weight. So, the best place to start is at the beginning:
So there it is. My goal is to lose 10% of my body weight. Based on this initial weigh-in, that would be 28.9 pounds, but I will round up to 30. Every week, I will edit the RTC page to reflect the latest updates, as well as make a new post here. If you want in, head over to the RagamuffinTop Challenge.
Good luck!

I need to lose some weight too. Getting a spare tire. If your work as a water cooler - drink lots of water during the day. I once lost 5-10 pounds just by drinking a lot of water during work using my Nalgene.

Well I was gonna do this thing, but I found out that Carlos requires a photo of the before, during, and after– Which makes total sense to me. I’m afraid though, that I’m more comfortable behind a camera than if front of it. Besides every time I mention to someone that I’m trying to loose weight ( only ten to fifteen pounds) the want to stomp on me. They can’t see it. They say I’m fine. But I see the difference. I’ve had five kids and my ’shape’ isn’t what it used to be.
Still I think I will do this challenge with the rest of ya’ll, just in a sort of unofficial way.
Good luck Adam!

@patrickwitherow Yeah, I drink a TON of water here at work during the day, mostly because it’s free. If only I could kick the Diet Coke/Coke Zero habit.
@scottie I don’t think you HAVE to have a photo or video. Mine is just of my head for the most part. Trust me, I am not going to broadcast my shirtless body for the world to see. The scale number is enough!
