Movie Theater Snacks

When you go to the movies, do you buy drinks and/or snacks?  Tickets to just see the movie are $10 or so, and then if you want a snack, you’re looking at another $5 minimum.  Personally, I will buy some candy somewhere else and just bring it it.  I’ll even sneak in a can of Coke if I’m feeling thirsty.

I admit it, I sneak my own snacks in.

What about you?  Do you spend a small fortune at the movies or do you bring your own snacks?

  • How about this: Chick Fil-A snuck in during Quantum of Solace Monday night. I mean everything from chicken nuggets with sauce and fries to two large drinks....

    @nandango - I agree. It would be easier to buy the snacks from the theater if they were even just a LITTLE more reasonably priced.

  • I don't usually eat snacks when I go to the movies, not b/c I'm anti snacks I just forget. But on the rare occasion I remember I'm definitely a sneaker! No way I'm going to hand over the other half of my paycheck for food when I just gave them the first half for my ticket.

  • I used to sneak food in all the time. I used to wear really baggy clothes and one time I brought in 2 1 litre bottles of mt. Dew for me and a friend... it was hilarious!
