Congrats, Apple

As someone with an iPhone that has downloaded about half of these apps, I have to say that it is pretty impressive what Apple has done in 6 months or so.

iPhone / iPod Touch users, what is your absolute favorite app that you use?

I agree. It was pretty revolutionary in changing the way we listen to music.
  • I still think there classic ipod is the best mac product hands down.
  • Just cause I like to bring you fanboys down (dont get me wrong, I like alot of mac's products)

Phones are available from 115 mobile operators in 55 countries
These MOs represent 1 billion+ subscribers, roughly 65% of WW subscribers
47 Windows Mobile device maker partners
50+ converged phone designs; 100+ phones shipping worldwide
100 Windows Mobile multimedia content partners
18,000+ commercial Windows Mobile applications; 1,440+ certified Mobile2Market applications
Line-of-business applications from leading companies such as: SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft/Oracle, Salesforce.com, Onyx, Microsoft, Sybase/iAnywhere, Dexterra, Mobitor, Field Centrix
1.5 million+ downloads of Windows Mobile SDKs since January 2002
More than 5 million Windows Mobile ‘connected’ devices shipped worldwide in FY05

I support opensource, and the phone has to be edited to allow stuff thats not from the store is kind of sad. Even after so many people unlocked there -phone, they bring out patches to fix this instead of just embracing it.

I wonder if the SDK is free?
  • Yeah yeah yeah...:) 500 million in 6 months is what impressed me most. And I agree, it would be cool if it was more open, but I jailbroke mine so I can mod the crap out of it!
