Dad stabs son in the butt cheek
Few things in life drive me nuts more than being told what I can and cannot wear in church (and trust me, as someone who plays in the church band, I have heard my fill of it. I like to wear flip flops. Others don’t like that I like that. But I digress.) As bad as church attire arguments can be, they should never get this bad.
In Baltimore, a man got into an argument with his 19 year old son about him wearing a hat in church. The, the argument went outside and crossed the line. According to MSNBC, :
The father and his 19-year-old son got into an argument on Sunday afternoon, police said. That’s when police said the father went to a car, got a knife and stabbed his son in the left buttock and fled.
Folks. First of all, I am almost positive that God does NOT care what we wear in church. But even if He did, is it worth stabbing your son over? I’m going with no on this one. What’s wrong with people?!

Just think what will happen to you if you don't start wearing shoes and pants to church…that sounded wierd.
I guess then it would be easier to stab me in the butt cheek?
What kind of church does that guy go to?…seriously though that's ridiculous.

I would guess a Baptist church, but I'm just taking a stab at it (ha!)

I was raised believing that men, teenagers, and boys were to take off their hat ( and their pants pulled up so that the world couldn't see their undies) before they entered church as a show of respect for God. Now that said, I wouldn't go so far as to stab a relative if he entered church and didn't remove his hat— If he was my child he'd know better. I'd just give him a good, swift slapping upside his head, allowing the hat to fall off ,and thus the problem would be solved. (Don't mess with momma….)
I honestly think these two had other 'underlying' problems more so than just wardrobe issues, and this was the final straw that broke the camel's back.
I agree with you, especially the sagging pants thing. And yeah, a stabbing is not a normal father/son squabble. There are some serious underlying problems there!
