    I need some input…

    April 29th, 2008

If you’ll notice, I have changed the name of this blog to “whatever, inc”.  The name was “adam.riggins”, which is my name, but I have been thinking of changing it.  So anyways, I made a new header, and I think it looks pretty good.

But what do YOU think?  Should I go back to just using my name?

    Leave me a video comment!

    April 26th, 2008

If you look on the comment part of each post, you will now see a link to leave a video comment.  You can do it anonymously if you want.  All you need is a webcam on your computer.  Who wants to be the first to try?

    I’m swamped!

    April 16th, 2008

    Dear readers,

First of all, thanks for reading!

As you may or may not know, I post mostly from work when I have some downtime.  This week so far has been relentless on me, as I have been totally swamped.  That is the reason for the minimal posting.  But fear not, I have decided to say “screw you, work!”, and post anyways.  So hang tight!

And, if anyone from work is reading this, I was kidding about the whole “screw you, work” thing.  Heh heh heh…?

A new website idea… Coming soon.

    March 19th, 2008

I am working on a fun idea for a website that could be potentially interactive and thought provoking.  Or, it could be the dumbest idea ever.  But regardless, it will relate to all of us in one way or another.  I hope to roll it out in the next few days, but hopefully you all (my loyal and faithful readers) will give me some feedback.

Anyone out there ever have really weird dreams that are totally random?  If so, let me know.  I might need your help…

    Welcome, new readers!

    February 21st, 2008

I wanted to take a minute and welcome all of the new readers to this blog, both casual and subscribers.  I am really glad you all have decided to either occasionally or regularly stop by to see what is going on.  Blogging helps me keep my sanity, and I am glad you all can be a part of that!  Feel free to take part in any discussion going on with certain posts, and don’t hesitate to look around some.

I have recorded a few cd’s you can download for free on the music page.  Also, I have some pictures on Flickr and videos on Youtube if you want to check those out.  And finally, if you want to know more about healthy, quick meal ideas for work or home, check out my podcast.

    Thanks again for stopping by!

Just so you know, there is now a link up top for my pictures and Youtube videos. Make sure you see the haunting “Blackshear Project”. Filmmaking at its finest! (/sarcasm)

    Moving (maybe)

    January 16th, 2008

I have stared a new website over at WordPress, and I really like their format for posting. So, I might be moving all of this content over to their servers. For you subscribers, you will really not see any difference, as the RSS feed will stay the same.

Anyone out there have any experience with Wordpress?

    Macbook Repair Update

    October 9th, 2007

Well, it looks like I am without my computer for the rest of the week. I took the Macbook into the Apple Store a few minutes after the previous post, and met up with a Mac Genius. He looked at it for a few minutes and determined it needed to be sent away to get fixed. Luckily it is still covered under the warranty, so it is free, but I am still without my Mac for a couple of days. I have this crap HP laptop I use at work, so that will have to do. I now know what it feels like to say goodbye to your child as they go to school for the first time.

This brings up another question. Another month or so and the computer would have been outside of its one-year warranty. I could get AppleCare for about $300, and that would cover it for 3 years I think. I am always a big advocate for getting the protection plan, and I really want to in this case, but I can’t afford the $300. Anyone out there have any experience with the paid AppleCare protection?
