Make an N.E.S. lunchbox

Anyone who carries your lunch to work everyday, and also has an old Nintendo lying around, pay attention here.  You can easily take that old N.E.S., strip its guts out, and make a pretty stellar lunchbox to show off to your friends at work.  Here is the end result:

Umbrella Today?

Ever wonder if you will need an umbrella when you leave the house?  Here is a simple website that will tell you of you do.  First, enter your zip code.

Hit go and let the site tell you if you need one.

I’m not sure how the mobile updates work yet, but overall, this seems like a cool, simple site.

All the way back in 1826.  Check this out!

I have 2 theories as to what the picture is of.  Either..

a) The boat from the movie “This Island“,

or b) the spaceship from “Flight of the Navigator

It’s a mystery!

I thought I would break out some yearbook photos…

Ok, not really.  But check these out.  Over at Yearbook Yourself, you can make an old-school yearbook picture of yourself.  Here are some of mine:

I actually had this hairstyle in 9th grade.  See for yourself.

Now I have a rockin’ mini-mullet going down.

Even MORE of a mullet.

Nice fro!

And finally, the importance of centering your image and making it the right size when making it.  This cracks me up:

A great way to get out of a boring meeting

…or a bad date!

There is a website called Get Me Out of Here that will call you at a specified time and give you an “out” to whatever scenario you are in at the time.  You give it the date and time, your phone number, and then you choose from a list of different conversations you can have.

When I tested it, I did the “Burglar alarm” call.  When you answer the phone, it tells you what to say to make it sound authentic.  There are several options, but if you have a meeting coming up, this might be a great way to escape the clutches of boredom.

An air-conditioning seat cushion that keeps the ol’ “rear” cool

“The built-in fan pushes over 170 liters of air per minute through the cushion, dissipating the heat and moisture around your buttocks that causes discomfort and sweating.”

Plus, there is a model that turns on and off based on when you are sitting down.  The inventor of this deserves a prize.

Sold!

And for $89, it’s worth it!
