Adventures in Camping

I’m back! Last week, I was camping down in Richmond Hill, GA. I was joined by my dad and 3 uncles for 5 days of roughing it in the woords. After almost getting eaten alive by these biting gnats, we all survived the trip. Here are some shots of just what went on:
First of all, this is my dad’s tent. It’s more of a tipi. Awesome nonetheless.

Quite possibly the best made-from-scratch dutch oven peach cobbler in HISTORY:
Some really good salsa that we tore through (are you seeing a trend yet?)
Most of the day, we would try to fish. We were quite unsuccessful in catching anything, but highly successful in having a great time trying.
Finally, the squirrels were really friendly. They would come up to you and eat right out of your hand!

I’ll be camping all week

So you all know, I will be out of town for this entire week coming up. I will be going down to south Georgia to go camping with some family. Last time we did this with so many of us was 13 years ago. Here was our group shot from that trip:

Anyways, I don’t think I will be posting too much on this blog during this time. I’ll have my iPhone with me which lets me post, but lets be honest here… I’ll be camping! That being said, you can check out my Twitter page for some updates during the week.

Energy Drink Review: Camping out edition - “Crunk!!!”

While camping this weekend, I stopped by the local gas station and picked up an energy drink (sleeping in your car has a tendency to prohibit you from the amount of sleep you need). Anyways, here was the selection I was presented with:
You might notice a familiar drink in there. Anyways, I decided to go with a drink called “Crunk!!!”. That’s right, the name has 3 exclamation marks in it. As far as the taste goes, this is hands down the best tasting drink of all that I have tried. It didn’t taste like an energy drink trying to taste good. It had a very unique flavor that was delicious. As far as the energy boost goes, it was on par with the others.
So, I am happy to name Crunk!!! my favorite so far. Now, go and get Crunked up. Yeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh!

Some pictures from my vacation

Hello everyone… Sorry there have been no posts in the last couple of days. I am currently in Blackshear, GA (look it up on Google Maps). It is a very small town in South GA, and i had to drive about 20 minutes just to get to the coffee shop I am at right now just to get internet. Anyways, here are some pictures of what has been going on.
This is Sugar Bear, one of my mom’s cat’s. She (Sugar Bear, not my mom) likes to drink out of the sink for some odd reason Personally, I think it is really cute.
This is my lovely grandmother and me sitting on the couch posing for a picture (obviously). Grandma and Grandpa hosted my mom’s side of the family for Christmas lunch.
Meet Bozo. Bozo is part bobcat, so his tail is just a little nub. Bozo runs things down in Blackshear. He is the king of the house.
This was right after I woke up this morning. I did not sleep very well last night ( I was in a tent camping with my dad and uncle), and so waking up to dad snoring was so much fun.
