CRUNK!!! Citrus = a delicious way to get energized

The fine folks at CRUNK!!! Energy Drink were kind enough to send me some samples CRUNK!!! Citrus, the new energy drink from the makers of CRUNK!!!. Like its predecessor, CRUNK!!! Citrus has a very invigorating taste. Imagine a lemon-lime soft drink that’s like sweet magic on the lips. Wow, that looks a lot stranger written out than in my head. Anyway, as far as energy drinks go, this stuff is GREAT. Very nice taste, plus you get a boost of energy. And best of all, there is none of the normal energy drink after-taste that stays with you.
If you get a chance, go pick up a few cans of CRUNK!!! Citrus (I am now officiall tired of typing those darn exclaimation marks).

Drank: The Anti-Energy Drink

I just received a direct tweet from Jas_on informing me of a drink called “Drank”. It’s billed as the “anti-energy drink”, and it’s slogan is “Slow your roll”. Check it:
Drank anti-energy drink finds it’s roots in “purple drank,” a slang term for a concoction popularized in the South by the hip-hop community, according to Wikipedia. Purple drank typically includes promethazine-codeine cough syrup which produces a stoned sedation. Promethazine is an antihistamine while codeine is an opiate narcotic. The syrup is colored purple hence “Purple drank.”
Initially, I had mixed feelings about this. I mean, hey, if you drink a can before bed, maybe it will help you sleep, I dunno. But then I went to the Wikipedia page for it and read this:
Purple drank is confirmed or suspected to have caused the deaths of several prominent users. Respiratory depression is a potentially serious or fatal adverse drug reaction associated with the use of codeine. This depression is dose-related and is the mechanism for the potentially fatal consequences of overdose: respiratory or cardiac arrest. (Wikipedia)
Cardiac Arrest? Maybe drinking this stuff is not the best idea and I should stick with good, old fashioned CRUNK!!! Energy Drink.

Energy Drink Review: Camping out edition - “Crunk!!!”

While camping this weekend, I stopped by the local gas station and picked up an energy drink (sleeping in your car has a tendency to prohibit you from the amount of sleep you need). Anyways, here was the selection I was presented with:
You might notice a familiar drink in there. Anyways, I decided to go with a drink called “Crunk!!!”. That’s right, the name has 3 exclamation marks in it. As far as the taste goes, this is hands down the best tasting drink of all that I have tried. It didn’t taste like an energy drink trying to taste good. It had a very unique flavor that was delicious. As far as the energy boost goes, it was on par with the others.
So, I am happy to name Crunk!!! my favorite so far. Now, go and get Crunked up. Yeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh!
