GOOG-411 - Yet Another Reason to Love Google

1.800.GOOG.411

Have you tried this out yet? Google has it’s own 411 service. In other words, if you need a phone number to any place, business or residential, you call their 1-800 number. It’s totally free, and it goes above and beyond most other 411 services (which normally cost money). Here are some cool features:

  • They will send you a text message with the contact info of whoever you are trying to call.
  • You can get a map sent to your internet-enabled phone
  • It is voice activated, and surprisingly accurate
  • They will automatically connect you (for free, too!)
  • There is a certain level of humor involved.

So, next time you need a number, give it a try. Hey, it’s free!

*The noise you hear when it is “thinking” is a real person doing that noise. That’s awesome!
