QOTD - GOOOOOOAAAALLL!!!1! edition
Nov 12, 2008 Questions
Today’s question is dealing with goals. Not the soccer/football kind, but the kind that actually matter.
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish during your lifetime?
For where I am in my life right now, it would be to become overall “fit”. Physically fit, financially fit, and spiritually fit. I know that each one of those is is not really something you accomplish and then are done with it, but I would like to get to a point where all of it is under control, and I am making the right decisions. Make sense?
QOTD - time o’ the day edition
Oct 7, 2008 Questions
Are you a morning or night person?
I’m a night person. Although it’s nice to go jogging early, mornings are just not good for me. Too tired, want sleepy. Like the song says, “waking up is hard to do”. Or something like that.
You?”
QOTD - Bathroom Edition
Sep 25, 2008 Questions
I did a random question of the day a while back, so why not start it up again. So let’s potty! (sorry, bad pun).
If you could eliminate one thing you do each day in the bathroom so that you never had to do it again, what would it be?
I would have to say brushing my teeth. I get no enjoyment out of it, and I only do it because I have to. If I could eliminate it and have my breath become fresh on its own, it would be spectacular.
So how about you?
Question of the Day: post-Oscars edition
Here is your question of the day. Now, keep in mind, I am not asking for your favorite movies, but…
What are three movies you could watch over and over and over again?
This is pretty tough, but I would say that mine are:
- Dumb and Dumber
- Tommy Boy
- Cloverfield
I know Cloverfield is relatively new, but I saw it twice, and after the 2nd time, I wanted to see it again. So it makes the list.
Your turn!

Question of the Day - Day Off Edition
I took the day off today. As I type this (at 11:20am), I am still in my pajamas, watching Survivor, with no intention of changing that any time soon. So this leads me to today’s Question of the Day:
Have you ever worn your pajamas in public?
For me, the answer is yes. In college I would wear them to class at times, especially when I was running late. I think that it is totally acceptable while in college since so many did it. But yeah, if class is at 8am and you wake up at 7:53, the PJ’s are making an appearance in class.
How about you?

Question of the Day
Feb 8, 2008 Current Events, Questions
What pushes your buttons? What can really get your going? What will it take to get your stand up on your soap box?
Wow, there are so many. One big one is when someone gets a far worse punishment than they deserve for something; when there is an injustice due to a technicality.
For example, last year, someone in Virginia was arrested for filming 20 seconds of Transformers on their little point-and-shoot camera. It was this girl’s 19th birthday, and she and her friends were just goofing off. Check this out:
Sejas liked the movie so much that she decided to film a short clip of the movie to share with her little brother. She thought he would also like to come see the movie at the theater. She filmed 20 seconds of the “Transformers” movie so that she could show it to him later and see if he might like to go see the movie.
Ok, no harm done really. If anything, she was going to bring in business to the theater.
Regal Cinemas of Ballston Commons in Arlington, Virginia pressed charges against Sejas and wanted to make an example of her in an effort to stop movie piracy.
For goodness sake. O, and about this supposed “criminal”?
Sejas is a Bolivian immigrant who works two part-time jobs in order to pay for her college education in the United States. She had no criminal record and was terrified by the police. She and her boyfriend had no idea what they had done wrong, and had not realized that filming the 20 second clip to share with her younger brother was against the law.
See, this kind of stuff really gets me going. Sometimes, even though the law is the law, I think exceptions should be made. Especially in cases like this where clearly no harm was being done, and she just wanted to get her brother to come see the movie. This is an injustice, and this kind of crap happens all of the time!
So there is my answer. How about you?
