Improv Everywhere - Human Mirror
Jul 17, 2008 Found Online, video
If you haven’t seen some of Improv Everywhere’s videos, they are awesome. Basically, it is a group of people who go out into public places and do large-scale improv comedy.
In their most recent video, for example, they found several “twins”, got them to dress alike, and had them ride a crowded subway train. People’s reactions are great. Check it out:
And in case you have not seen the “Frozen Grand Central Station”, here it is. It’s my personal favorite:

Third Day featured me on their official blog!
May 7, 2008 Just Plain Awesomeness, Music, me
Third Day is my favorite band of all time. They have been for around 14 years or so. Well, I went to their blog today, and they featured a video that I had put up on Youtube of a band I used to play with covering a Third Day song.
They have been doing a feature called “Fourth Day”, where they post a video of someone covering a Third Day song. Today featured my video! So, go to their blog and check it out.
Cannonball
Apr 30, 2008 Music, Thoughts, Uncategorized
I’m a big fan of music, and even more of a fan of picking apart lyrics and relating them to my own life. So, let’s look at one of my favorite songs ever…
Here is a video of me covering Damien Rice’s song “Cannonball”. Also, here are the lyrics, followed by my thoughts on it:
there’s still a little bit of your taste in my mouth
there’s still a little bit of you laced with my doubt
it’s still a little hard to say what’s going on
there’s still a little bit of your ghost your weakness
there’s still a little bit of your face i haven’t kissed
you step a little closer each day
that I can´t say what´s going on
stones taught me to fly
love, it taught me to lie
life, it taught me to die
so it’s not hard to fall
when you float like a cannonball
there’s still a little bit of your song in my ear
there’s still a little bit of your words i long to hear
you step a little closer to me
so close that I can´t see what´s going on
stones taught me to fly
love taught me to lie
life taught me to die
so its not hard to fall
when you float like a cannon..
stones taught me to fly
love taught me to cry
so come on courage, teach me to be shy
‘cos its not hard to fall,
and I don’t want to scare her
its not hard to fall
and i don’t want to lose
its not hard to grow
when you know that you just don’t know
Have you ever acted a certain way for no other reason than the fact that it just seemed right to you? Specifically related to love and relationships, have you ever had feelings for someone or done something out of love (or what you thought was love) that just made no sense at all?
To me, that’s what this song says at parts. “Stones taught me to fly…”. Stones are heavy and don’t fly. It doesn’t make sense for something to teach you about flying that would not fly well at all. “Love taught me to lie” and “life taught me to die” are the same thing. It’s almost like one extreme taught him to do the other extreme.
So maybe in this song, he has done things in a relationship that maybe he shouldn’t have done. Things that seemed right at the time, but might not have made sense, and it has caused a rift in that relationship. And maybe by the end, he wants the courage that led him to do whatever, to make him shy. Only then will he not do it again.
I dunno, what do you think?

This is AWESOME. From the description:
Relive the events leading up to the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 and see what happened on the ground and in the air at the same moment from multiple angles.
Leo Laporte really does not like the Zune
Dec 20, 2006 Uncategorized
Leo Laporte, host of TWiT, and many other podcasts, shares his thought on the Microsoft Zune. I agree with him. He at some points sound like a crotchety old geezer, but that is his style, and I love it.
